Q. What is your discount policy?
A. When an order of substantial size is placed, we have no problem in discussing a price that meets both of our needs.
Q. How long does a quoted price stay valid?
A. In the building industry, prices constantly rise and fall without notice. If you are quoted a certain price for material, you are guaranteed that price for 10 days, regardless of price increases. However, in the event that prices fall, so will your total cost.
Q. Can I place a custom order (e.g. windows)?
A. Absolutely. We have a broad range of suppliers for windows, doors, cabinets, counter tops. Also, we have recently expanded to include carpet and other floor covering.
Q. How far will you deliver building materials?
A. We've gone as far as Maryland and as close as across the road. We only ask that you you provide clear and accurate directions and mention any helpful landmarks along the way.
Q. Do you charge for delivery?
A. We always try to avoid delivery fees, however we sometimes require a fuel surcharge.
Q. Are tools available for rent?
A. We do have certain tools available for rent. Please call for availability and costs.
Q. Do you provide a carpentry service?
A. L&M Lumber does not employ a contracting team. However we can provide you with contact information for a number of local professionals who would be happy to talk with you.
